Now each and every student will remain engaged since each and every student will have to answer the questions posed by the teacher. Mr. Taylor has been tracking this system for over 5 years. In the past this learning system was very expensive and available only at university level education sites and corporate board rooms. Presently, because the system now in a new FM radio frequency mode has gained strong sales in the United States educational market and because there have been major improvements in what it can do at the elementary classroom level, the price has now come within a range that is affordable. The system is mobile and will be used throughout the school, however, we will be placing units in both Mrs. Greenshields and Miss Gallant's classrooms. There will be a learning curve by both teachers and students, as there always is in any new major technology enhancement. However, Miss Gallant was been given a demonstration of the system by the manufacturer and she is confident that all teachers will find this a quick study. Students will find this to be a "cool" new item that will make learning more interesting. It is virtually indestructible, but it can be misplaced and lost so students will have to take care of it similarly as they do with their ipods, gameboys and other modern age technology. Implementation will occur over a one to two month period. Again we would like to purchase the system immediately. We will be one of the first elementary schools in Toronto to be using this system.

Instead of continually presenting you with a series of costs, we decided to introduce both the new teaching technology system and the new text books at the same time. The purchase price for the math text books, the math work books and the student remotes and software for the new teaching system come to a total of $235.00 per student. Once the money has been collected the package will be ordered and introduced into the classroom, hopefully by as early as next Monday.
